TMW (Tai Chi Movements for Wellbeing) is a specially-developed sequence of movements which promotes physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.
With origins in both Tai Chi and Chi Kung, the TMW sequence combines essential elements of these arts into a simplified form which is easy to learn and accessible to all. There is also a shorter,’ flex’ form for those who may need it.
Suitable for all ages, the beauty of TMW is that it can be practised both seated and standing, making its benefits accessible to all. The simple sequence of gentle movements aims to improve your self-cofidence, flexibility and balance. It can help reduce stress, supporting you to move and breathe with awareness. As a moving meditation, it can help you feel more grounded and relaxed.
It takes just eight weeks to learn the sequence, and once it’s yours, it takes as little as ten minutes to practise. There is also an accompanying booklet to aid learning.
I am happy to offer the form one to one, or or in small groups of up to 4 pople here at MNHC.
