Sound Healing

Sound healing is the therapeutic application of sound frequencies to the body and mind of a person with the intention of bringing them into a state of harmony.

Every cell in the body has a unique resonant frequency therefore through the principles of resonance and entrainment (physics) it is possible to use sound to bring the body back into balance and aid the body’s ability to heal itself.

Jacqueline Paxton

Jacqueline PaxtonMy journey to becoming a Sound Healing Practitioner started quite by accident when I met a school teacher who travelled to Nepal annually and who supported a Nepalese family by buying the metal singing bowls they made and selling them back here in the UK. When I eventually bought some singing bowls from the teacher some time later, she mentioned a practitioner course being run by the College of Sound Healing for Himalayan & Crystal bowls so I decided to try it. I was surprised by the results; the feedback I received from a bowl whilst using it was indicative of where energy in the body was not flowing as it should or was blocked. I subsequently started using Himalayan bowls and Crystal bowls on people and found them effective on certain types of chronic pain. One lady I worked with who was unable to lie on her left side in bed due to pain in her hip found herself able to lie on her left side for a couple of hours at a time allowing her to sleep better.

We are all unique so Sound Healing works differently for each person but if you have tried other avenues without much success you may like to give Sound Healing a try.
